I really do like these books and I also have no problem with organic/healthy eating. But I've got to say this author's fixation on it is distracting. Nobody in this town can just eat eggs. They eat organic eggs! Fresh veggies! Organic dog food! Homemade whole-grain hamburger buns with grass fed beef burgers, also for the dog! And they eat a lot in both of the books I've read so it's not like it's a few times a book. No. It's mentioned every time Jordan feeds the dog or goes to the pub (the cook has her own garden out back so everything is FRESH FRESH FRESH). Or makes breakfast (freshly ground imported espresso!) for the people working on her house renovations. I'm annoyed, clearly but despite that and that I figured out both the murderers in this one fairly easily I still like the series and I'm looking forward to the next installment whenever it comes out.
